Broomhill Manor is a small collection of luxury, self-catering, holiday cottages situated just outside the seaside town of Bude in north Cornwall, close to the border with Devon.
Broomhill Manor is privately owned and family run. It has recently been sympathetically refurbished to enhance your holiday experience, whilst still retaining Broomhill’s unique character and charm. We are famous for horses and our grounds. Our beautiful old Victorian gardens have been carefully restored to their former splendour. Rose beds, fig trees, woodland walks, ponds, thatched summer-houses, and a profusion of flowers and hanging baskets dripping with geraniums and surfinias lend Broomhill an almost Mediterranean atmosphere. Our popularity is in no small measure due to the team of staff at Broomhill, all of whom have been here for many years and are well known to regular holiday makers at Broomhill.

Entering Broomhill along the long and leafy drive is like stepping back in time. As you approach you will see beyond the wide lawn and flower beds, one of Cornwall’s most attractive Georgian manor houses.

The cottages converted from old cob barns and stables, cluster around the Manor House. Flowers are everywhere, with the cottages bedecked with hanging baskets; being over half a mile from any public road there is peace, seclusion and safety.
The interiors of our cottages have been tastefully designed to feel bright and fresh and are furnished and equipped to a high standard (ETC 4 star and 5 star) They are laid out around small courtyards to form a small village like atmosphere free of vehicles.

Out of Season
Popular though Broomhill is in the height of the Summer, it has a really special magic out of season, when the mild climate, early Springs, warm Autumns and empty roads are a delight. There’s plenty of time to explore deserted beaches take magnificent coastal walks or beach rides, followed by lunch or dinner in an unspoilt Cornish Inn. In addition to just wandering the grounds of the Broomhill Estate, large sandy beaches, moors, and dramatic cliff-tops to walk or ride, are all within reach.
We opened for our 2013 season on 23rd March and we hope you can find time to visit us sometime this year.
