“We had a fantastic week at Broomhill Manor, we are already planning to come back! The weather was a mixed bag, 3 days of sunshine and 3 days of rain. We found lots to do and our almost 2 yr old twin boys especially enjoyed Crooklets Beach and Air Extreme in Barnstaple.
This was our first family holiday and we are so glad we chose Broomhill Manor. The facilities are fantastic and our cottage was beautiful. Hope to be back next year. Thanks for a great stay.”The Waldings stayed in Kingfisher with 2 yr old twins, July 2017

I would recommend Widemouth Bay as it has really interesting stones and rocks. I would also recommend the café called Rosie’s café near Crooklets Beach because it has really nice fish and chips! We also tried the sauna it was really HOT!!!”

“Absolutely loved our time here. We are already planning a return trip for 2018! Alan is so kind and helpful. The facilities are wonderful and we felt “at home” immediately. Sienna LOVED her horse ride and swimming, and we loved the relaxed atmosphere and a night at the Preston Gate Inn (Thank you Justy (baby sitter) – you went above and beyond!).
We loved Sandymouth beach with the waterfalls and endless rock pools and pebbles. Summerleaze also great for little ones as it’s shallow for paddling. Can’t wait to come back”

“This was our first stay at Broomhill Manor. Alan and Linda went out of their way to make sure this felt like a very special family holiday.
We were very lucky with the weather which made visits to the beaches lots of fun for our boys. On the one day there was a little rain we went to the Eden Project, just one hour away.
Would definitely come back again.”The Haskey Family stayed in Seagull, April 2017
“What a wonderful stay we had – a superb family holiday with our daughter and family staying in nearby Woodlark. We appreciated the cream tea on our arrival and the immmaculate cottage so well equipped. The grounds are delightful and we came the right week with sunny weather and flowers and shrubs and trees beginning to burst into bloom. What great memories we have and hope to return one day.”The Henson Family stayed in Swallow and Woodlark, April 2017
“Thank you for another excellent week. We have lost count of how many times we have come; 8 or 9 we think. We were too late booking last Easter and had to go to another cottage with similar but inferior set up at Widemouth. Our return speaks for itself.
As the fledglings are flying the nest, not sure we will all be back again, but I hope most of us will. We have seldom been rained on here and love the facilities”The Davis Family stayed in Manor Apartment, April 2017
“I have spent 4 days here, solo to rest and recuperate. It’s been a wonderful break and I have been so comfortable and cosy at Fulmar. It has all you need and a very comfy bed. The facilities have been excellent and the owners extremely attentive and kind. Thank You!”Diane and her dog Millie stayed in Fulmar, April 2017
“A great week spent at Broomhill Manor. Weather a little up and down, but it is only March! Alan and Linda are very welcoming & friendly – they had all of the toddler kit we asked for already, plus some bits we didn’t ask for all set up in Kingfisher when we arrived.
The on-site facilities were great for us and our two year old – the pool is lovely & very safe for family swimming, and the outdoor play area also went down well. We even had a little dance in the bar to the original “Rockola” juke box which was loads of fun! Bude is a nice little town, all the beaches are pretty and accessible too with pasties and scones a plenty!”The White family stayed in Kingfisher, March 2017
“Our 7th trip to Broomhill in the last 5 years. It never disappoints us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hot-tub was a real bonus and Cormorant is a great cottage to stay in. We did lots of horse riding and went in the swimming pool almost every day. We also enjoyed the games room and long country walks. 🙂 Everyone should go to The Tree Inn, but we also enjoyed The Preston Gate and Rosie’s. We enjoy going to use the Broomhill bar for drinks and playing lots of games.” Emily (9) and Alex (6) and FamilyThe Simpson family stayed in Cormorant, February 2017

“First time at Broomhill and we all had a super time! So much to do both on site and in the surrounding area. With 2 young boys in tow (3yrs & 10 months) it was great to stay somewhere fully equipped for little ones. Certainly lessened the stress of packing & all the usual baggage! Visited lots of the local attractions including Tamar Otter Sanctuary….Launceston Steam Train to New Mills Activity Farm….Eden Project…Summerleaze and Crooklets beaches…
For the Adults, we would highly recommend Hazel who has a lovely range of treatments. The back massage was bliss! All in all a wonderful break away & would love to come back. Thanks to Alan & Linda for providing such a wonderful and happy place to stay and hopefully we will see you sometime soon!”The Collingridge family stayed in Nightingale, September 2016
“We’ve had a lovely family holiday. The facilities are great and the children’s swimming has come on leaps and bounds!!”The Wink family stayed in Swallow and Sandpiper, September 2016
“We’ve had a lovely week, thank you Alan & Linda. The weather has been mixed – but the beauty of Broomhill and why we booked, is that there’s plenty to entertain a toddler in the rain! We’ve been to the beach many times (Summerleaze & Crooklets). Recommend Crooklets with the little one for the play areas. We ate at Rosie’s a couple of times too. Our 18 month old son had his first pony ride on Suzie. In fact it was a holiday of firsts as I got to pull my first pint in the bar! The place has really exceeded our expectations!”The Healey family stayed in Cormorant, September 2016
