Following the harsh winter, it was difficult to imagine that we would ever see the sun again! However, spring more than made up for it with many sunny days throughout April and May! The summer garden is now in full bloom with its spectacular display of foxgloves, clematis, irises, poppies, roses and peonies, to name but a few of the wonderful varieties on show! The fish are coming to the top of the pond to feed, now joined by our new addition to the lower garden - a family of Cayuga ducks! Our 2010 season has got off to a good start and we have been busy welcoming guests old and new to Broomhill.  Our 2011 availability is now online - in fact we are almost fully booked already for May half term 2011! We are excited that The Manor House Apartment is relaunched for this season, having been newly renovated - see new pictures on the Apartment cottage page.  Also new for this season is "Sargie's at Broomhill" - a range of specially created mouth-watering meals devised by local chefs, Dave and Kirsty Sargant, for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own cottage. They have produced a range of main meals and vegetable accompaniments, and of course, a selection of their signature puddings!! 

As you would expect, the main school holiday weeks are already booked  - and we are anticipating another busy season!  Our regular guests will know that we are especially child-friendly and well equipped for families with "little ones"- there's also lots of facilities here to keep the whole family entertained!

There is a heated indoor pool, with sauna, gym and Jacuzzi.  Perhaps you could also treat yourself to a relaxing spa treatment, and some horse riding. We can arrange a baby sitter if you prefer a meal at one of the local restaurants to really get some quality grown-up time! And our playroom, sandpit, and outdoor play areas are particularly popular with your little ones!  For those booking a full week, there will be a welcome Cornish Cream Tea awaiting you on arrival.
