“What an amazing week in Broomhill Manor. The cottage is well-equipped and the beds were comfy. Sitting outside for breakfast, lunch & dinner was great. Highlights included the outdoor pool, indoor pool & tennis court. The kids also loved the games room & sand pit. We were happy to let the kids explore the grounds by themselves – they didn’t go far! Would recommend Margaret’s Rustic Tea Garden at Northcott Beach for a cream tea. The archery and pony rides are great activities onsite and we spent time in Bude surfing & shopping. Thank you for a lovely holiday!”

“We all liked the games room the indoor pool and the outdoor one. We liked the tennis court too. We also liked the cottage because me and my sister love bunk beds and the holiday because our friends are next door in Chough. It is very hot here. Thank you for our holiday.  PS We liked horseback riding and the Eden Project and the beaches.”

The Henderson family stayed in Puffin, July 2018

“The perfect base for a wonderful holiday in Cornwall with kids. Our girls are aged 5 and 3 years, so we wanted somewhere with alternative activities should the weather be bad (pool etc). The weather this week has been pretty good but every day we’ve been back in time for a couple of hours in the pool / playroom (just to make sure they’re really tired!). We’ve done so much this holiday – pony riding, crabbing, bike riding, body boarding, pot making and hope they remember how much fun we had… PS: Us adults did the Archery on Tuesday – very good!”

“If we stayed here again we would stay here for 2 weeks instead of 1! It’s been really fun. The games room was my favourite. Pool was a really fun game to play with my dad! The horse riding was really exciting (I have never been on a horse before) I felt really safe when we were at a slow trot. This was the Best Easter Ever”

“We have had a wonderful time at Broomhill Manor. We went in the swimming pool almost every day and we went on pony rides. My favourite pony was Danii he was so cute! I would recommend Widemouth Bay as it has really interesting stones and rocks. I would also recommend the café called Rosie’s café near Crooklets Beach because it has really nice fish and chips! We also tried the sauna it was really HOT!!!”

“We have all really enjoyed staying here at Broomhill Manor. Woodlark is a comfortable cottage. I would recommend the games room and swimming pool. We had a lovely time and went surfing and horse riding. My horse was called Lucy. Surfing was really fun with Scott. (Bude Surf Experience).

The Hot Tub was really relaxing and Hot. Mummy and daddy had Hazels massages. The pool table in the games room was really relaxing. Thank you Broomhill Manor”

The Tagg family stayed in Woodlark, June 2017

“Our 7th trip to Broomhill in the last 5 years. It never disappoints us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hot-tub was a real bonus and Cormorant is a great cottage to stay in. We did lots of horse riding and went in the swimming pool almost every day. We also enjoyed the games room and long country walks. 🙂 Everyone should go to The Tree Inn, but we also enjoyed The Preston Gate and Rosie’s. We enjoy going to use the Broomhill bar for drinks and playing lots of games.” Emily (9) and Alex (6) and Family

“First time at Broomhill and we all had a super time! So much to do both on site and in the surrounding area. With 2 young boys in tow (3yrs & 10 months) it was great to stay somewhere fully equipped for little ones. Certainly lessened the stress of packing & all the usual baggage!  Visited lots of the local attractions including Tamar Otter Sanctuary….Launceston Steam Train to New Mills Activity Farm….Eden Project…Summerleaze and Crooklets beaches…

For the Adults, we would highly recommend Hazel who has a lovely range of treatments. The back massage was bliss! All in all a wonderful break away & would love to come back. Thanks to Alan & Linda for providing such a wonderful and happy place to stay and hopefully we will see you sometime soon!”

The Collingridge family stayed in Nightingale, September 2016

“We’ve had a lovely week, thank you Alan & Linda. The weather has been mixed – but the beauty of Broomhill and why we booked, is that there’s plenty to entertain a toddler in the rain! We’ve been to the beach many times (Summerleaze & Crooklets). Recommend Crooklets with the little one for the play areas. We ate at Rosie’s a couple of times too. Our 18 month old son had his first pony ride on Suzie. In fact it was a holiday of firsts as I got to pull my first pint in the bar! The place has really exceeded our expectations!”
