“What an amazing week in Broomhill Manor. The cottage is well-equipped and the beds were comfy. Sitting outside for breakfast, lunch & dinner was great. Highlights included the outdoor pool, indoor pool & tennis court. The kids also loved the games room & sand pit. We were happy to let the kids explore the grounds by themselves – they didn’t go far! Would recommend Margaret’s Rustic Tea Garden at Northcott Beach for a cream tea. The archery and pony rides are great activities onsite and we spent time in Bude surfing & shopping. Thank you for a lovely holiday!”

“We all liked the games room the indoor pool and the outdoor one. We liked the tennis court too. We also liked the cottage because me and my sister love bunk beds and the holiday because our friends are next door in Chough. It is very hot here. Thank you for our holiday.  PS We liked horseback riding and the Eden Project and the beaches.”

“This is our first visit to Broomhill and it didn’t disappoint! Attempting to holiday and please kids age 16, 14, 11 and 8 isn’t easy, but Broomhill ticked all the boxes and everyone had a super week. Lots of memories made and for a family that “doesn’t do sport”, we chalked up an impressive list of activities. The cottage was clean, warm and most importantly had loads of radiators for drying towels etc. We found walking down the back lane into Bude quite easy. We enjoyed the archery and horse riding and went in the swimming pool everyday. The hot tub is a great bonus, especially sitting in it under the stars at the end of the day!”

“Another lovely week here at Broomhill. We also love the Olive Tree. Great gourmet burgers and lovely fish & chips from “The Plaice”.
Great walks: Port Quinn to Polzeath; left loop over the cliffs at Bude; left loop over cliffs from Boscastle (our favourite – we do every year!) Also scones from Lansdown Bakery with a tub of Cornish clotted cream. Our boys enjoyed tennis (we were lucky with the weather), the games room and of course the pool. A welcome break from the hustle & bustle of normal life – love, love, love the coast path around North Cornwall. Thanks to Alan and Linda as always.”

“Great fortnight staying in Cormorant. Loads to do in the area – Eden Project, Tintagel, Port Isaac. Would recommend a visit to Clovelly and cycling from Wadebridge to Padstow. Lots of nice places to eat in Bude – The deck and Elements particularly good. Kids loved the Sea Pool and couldn’t keep them out of the pools here!”

“We can highly recommend this lovely place. Alan & Linda have been exceptionally kind and thoughtful. We have ticked several boxes for activities new to us – archery at Red Elk, snooker, swimming in Bude Sea Pool, body boarding – phew, home for a rest!”

“Another great holiday at Broomhill which is ideal the two of us, but has something for Dad as well. (Dunlin is an ideal cottage with its ensuite bathrooms so we don’t disturb each other at night.) We like to go walking (the coastal path has stunning views) while Dad can “potter” in the lovely grounds, have a massage or take a stroll to the local pub at lunch time. There are things we can do together also, such as swimming in the heated indoor pool and playing snooker in the bar. And then out for a slap up meal – would recommend Life’s A Beach at Summerleaze beach. We shall return!”

“Thank you very much for an enjoyable stay at Broomhill Manor. The grounds and cottages are absolutely gorgeous and the facilities are really modern and excellent for families. The town of Bude is very charming and the location of Broomhill Manor is great for being close to a lot of beaches. I have told my friends and family to choose Broomhill Manor and North Cornwall/ Bude for any future holidays!”
