See What Our Guests Say

  • “We’ve had a great time here in spite of the weather, making good use of your tip-top on-site facilities. Only sorry it was too stormy to use the tidal pool in Bude. Carla says she likes the doggy cushion very much and all the pubs she’s been welcomed in, and running round on the sea-front on top of the cliffs. We’ll be back!”

Mr and Mrs Wild stayed in Seagull with their dog Carla, September 2017
  • “Our stay at Broomhill Manor was great, we thoroughly enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools! The Games room was excellent and we all enjoyed a game of pool! Overall the facilities were brilliant, there was always something to do. The weather during our stay was mostly bright and we either went to Crooklets or Summerleaze – both were excellent! We all enjoyed the Sea Pool very much!

The hot tub was extremely relaxing, especially after a long day of being on the beach! Both Alan and Linda were very kind and helpful. All in all we had an amazing time and will definitely be returning. Thank You!

The Fox family stayed in Kingfisher, August-Sept 2017
  • “We had a wonderful stay at the Grebe cottage. It was our second stay at Broomhill Manor. We went to Hidden Valley, Bude, Padstow and The Tree inn which had very tasty food. The indoor pool was nice and warm and the jacuzzi was very bubbly.

This was our first family holiday and we are so glad we chose Broomhill Manor. The facilities are fantastic and our cottage was beautiful. Hope to be back next year. Thanks for a great stay.”

We appreciated the cream tea on our arrival and the immmaculate cottage so well equipped. The grounds are delightful and we came the right week with sunny weather and flowers and shrubs and trees beginning to burst into bloom. What great memories we have and hope to return one day.”

Accessible Bude – Buggy Boy goes wild in Bude!

A couple of weeks ago, I was contacted by a returning guest who was getting ready to stay at Broomhill Manor during September. She had booked a dog-friendly cottage to bring their dog Lucy and they had also invited “Dad” who, in his late 80’s, found that standing and walking for any length of time had become a bit of a challenge.

A few decades ago, booking a holiday was a “big deal”. Pre-internet, self-catering properties were typically advertised in newspapers and magazines.

All those black & white ads with a brief description/ price and a letter you sent to a PO Box Number at least 6 months ahead of when you wanted to stay!
