There are plenty of pubs and restaurant’s locally – Our favourites are:

PUBS

The Preston Gate Inn, Poughill. A short walk from Broomhill Manor up the back lane. A family and dog friendly pub run by a local family.  A great range of food and drink with locally sourced ingredients including Sunday roasts and Takeaway.  Regular Quiz Nights and music and entertainment popular with locals. The Bush Inn in Morwenstow is a C13th freehouse and one of the oldest pubs in Cornwall.  Locally sourced ingredients and a selection of Cornish drinks.  Links to the famous Parson Hawker. Click here for map

The Smithy Inn is quaint and thatched. To get there head north from Bude on the A39 past Morwenstow to a left hand turn towards Welcombe, follow this road to Darracott and you will find the inn. Click here for map

RESTAURANTS
